I was only able to do a few lessons with Graeson, and joined for a workshop before he left Chicago. Even in just those few sessions, what I gained was tremendous. In the last workshop session, I gained a wider range of movement in ways I hadn't thought about. I'm an actor, and found the Alexander Technique under Graeson's guidance to be an amazing way to break out of old habits and discover my own body's true range of motion--which was much greater than I thought! I only wish I had more sessions with him, who knows what more we could have discovered! I highly recommend Graeson and the Alexander Technique for anyone who is feeling physically stuck, actor or not.

Lessons in the Alexander Technique helped fix things I didn't know were wrong, and all the while Graeson maintained an attitude of "non-fixing," focusing rather on growth and expansion. My lessons gave me new options for how I move and exist in my body -- many aches and pains that I thought were just a product of getting older were eased directly after the lessons, and I now have a greater awareness of options when they creep back in. I would imagine it difficult to find anyone who couldn't find some benefit from Alexander.
